1. Overview

You can register your child for the 2023 Kindergarten 1 (K1) admission to an MOE Kindergarten (MK) if your child is a Singapore Citizen (SC) or Permanent Resident (PR) born between 2 January 2018 and 1 January 2019 (both dates inclusive).

Online registration for the 2023 K1 admissions has closed. You may contact your preferred MK directly to register. Applications submitted after the registration period are subject to available vacancies. If there are no vacancies, your application will be placed on the waitlist.

  • New MKs opening in 2023 (i.e. MK@Alexandra, MK@Bendemeer, MK@Fengshan, MK@Princess Elizabeth, MK@Shuqun, MK@Temasek and MK@Yishun) will only have K1 classes.
  • If you are interested to register your SC/PR child for Kindergarten 2 (K2) admission, contact your preferred MK directly. K2 admission is subject to the availability of places.
  • If you are an SC parent with a child who is an international student, your child may be considered for MK admission, if there are still vacancies in the MK after all SC and PR children have been admitted. You may contact your preferred MK directly to check on the available vacancies for 2022 K1/K2 admission. For 2023 K1 admission, you may contact your preferred MK directly from Sep 2022 onwards. Admission depends on available vacancies, which is not guaranteed due to limited vacancies after all SC and PR children have been admitted.
