Fees and financial assistance

Learn about the school fees and uniform expenses for MOE Kindergarten (MK), and whether your child qualifies for financial assistance.

Fees for the 4-hour MK programme

The monthly fee for MK in 2027 is:

  • $160 for Singapore Citizens.
  • $320 for Singapore Permanent Residents.

Fees are also payable during the June and December holidays. There are no additional out-of-pocket expenses for complementary programmes such as field trips.

 
Kindergarten Care (KCare) fees
  • If you require a full-day service, KCare is available at all MKs not on the Full-Day Model.
  • For 2027, the maximum KCare monthly fee is $435.40.
  • KCare fees are also payable during the June and December holidays.

As MKs progressively transition to the Full-day Model, the current MK and KCare arrangement will transition to the new model.

Fees for the Full-Day Model

For MKs on the Full-Day Model (FDM), parents will pay a single fee to the MK instead of separate fees for MK and KCare.

The following monthly fees apply to MK@Rivervale and MK@West View, which will pilot the FDM in 2027.

The range of monthly fees for Singapore Citizen children takes into account the applicable Basic Subsidy, Additional Subsidy and MOE top-up subsidy. The actual fees payable will depend on the family's subsidy eligibility.

Financial assistance for the 4-hour MK programme

If your child is a Singapore Citizen, they may qualify for financial assistance under the Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme (KiFAS). KiFAS is provided by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) and applies only to MK school fees. 

 

As mentioned in PM’s 2026 Budget Speech, the income eligibility of preschool subsidies will be raised from 1 January 2027. More information will be shared by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) in due course.

Financial assistance for the Full-Day Model

Families with Singapore Citizen children enrolled in MKs on the FDM will receive applicable fee subsidies administered by ECDA under the Infant and Childcare Subsidy Scheme.

These subsidies will replace KiFAS and the existing KCare subsidies for children enrolled in the FDM.
