Direct School Admissions (DSA-Sec)

Students can seek admission to certain secondary schools based on talent in sports, CCAs and specific academic areas. Learn if your child is eligible and how to apply.

Secondary 1 (S1) posting process

Most students are placed in secondary school through S1 posting admission, which takes place after the PSLE scores are released.

Singapore Student Learning Space (SLS)

Students can access learning resources at their own convenience and is available to all students ranging from primary to pre-university level.

Courses and subjects

(For S1 cohort in 2023 or earlier) Courses are educational pathways that determine a student’s journey through secondary school. Each course offers a different curriculum.

Curriculum for secondary schools

(From 2024 S1 cohort) Under Full Subject-Based Banding (Full SBB), students will be posted through Posting Groups 1, 2 and 3 respectively instead and have greater flexibility to offer subjects at appropriate subject levels.
