Secondary 1 (S1) Posting process

Most students are placed in secondary schools through the S1 Posting process, which takes place once the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) results are released. Learn about the process and how to prepare.

  • Submission of school choices for S1 Posting has ended.
  • S1 Posting results will be released on either Thursday, 18 December or Friday, 19 December 2025 (tentative).
  • Schools’ cut-off points for the 2025 Primary 6 cohort will be published in SchoolFinder in December 2025, after the release of S1 Posting results.

Release of PSLE results

If you or your child is unable to collect their PSLE results and other relevant documents, you can nominate another adult to do so using this proxy form.

Submit school choices

The S1 Portal opens for 24-hour online submission from 11.30am on the day of PSLE results release. You can submit your child's 6 preferred school choices online from 11.30am on Tuesday, 25 November 2025 to 4.30pm on Monday, 1 December 2025.

Receive school posting results

S1 posting results will be released on either Thursday, 18 December or Friday, 19 December 2025 (tentative) through S1 Portal and SMS.
