Secondary 1 (S1) posting process

Most students are placed in secondary schools through the S1 posting process, which takes place once the PSLE results are released. Learn about the process and how to prepare.

Submit school choices

Choose your child's preferred secondary schools. The S1 Internet System (S1-IS) opens for 24-hour online submission at 11.30am on the day of PSLE results release. You can submit your child’s 6 preferred school choices online by 3pm on Tuesday, 30 November 2021.

Last day to submit school choices

Submit preferred secondary school choices online or at your child's primary school by 3pm.

[If you missed the deadline, you will have to submit the school choices through your child's primary school, from 9am to 12pm on Wednesday, 1 December 2021.]

Receive school posting results

The posting results will be released between Wednesday, 22 December and Friday, 24 December 2021 (tentative) via online, SMS and through child’s primary school.
