Secondary 1 (S1) Posting process

Most students are posted to secondary schools through the S1 Posting process, which takes place after the release of the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) results. Learn how S1 Posting works, explore schools and submit your child’s school choices.

Release of PSLE results

  • PSLE results released at 11am.

If you or your child is unable to collect their PSLE results and other relevant documents, you can nominate another adult to do so using this proxy form.

7 calendar days starting from the day of PSLE results release

Submit school choices

Submit your child’s 6 preferred school choices from 11.30am on the day of PSLE results release to 4.30pm on the last day of the school choice submission period. The S1 Portal will be made available 24-hour throughout this period.

Receive school posting results

S1 posting results will be released on Friday, 18 December 2026 (tentative) through the S1 Portal and SMS.
