Different schools have different instructions for their new students. Check the school’s website for information on how to prepare your child for the new school term, such as:

• Reporting details when school reopens in January.
• Familiarisation activities.
• Purchase of new uniforms and textbooks.

Your child should report to the posted secondary school when school reopens in January, even if you intend to appeal for a transfer.
