Secondary 1 (S1): Submit school choices

Submit online via S1 Portal

1. Jot down your child’s 6 school choices, in order of preference, for ease of submission.
2. Log in to the S1 Portal with your Singpass.
3. View your child's eligibility information, including DSA-Sec admission outcome (if applicable). Only parents/legal guardian with access to the child will be able to view the child’s details.
4. Follow the instructions to submit your child’s school choices and Third Language options (if applicable).

• If your child is eligible to choose between two Posting Groups, select your child’s preferred Posting Group first. This will apply to all school choices.
• Use all 6 school options to increase the chances of your child getting into a school of your choice. Schools available for selection are based on your child’s Posting Group and eligibilities.
• Enter your mobile number to receive updates on your application.
• Verify your child's school choices and Third Language options (if applicable).
• Keep a copy of the submission for your records.

If you need to amend your submission, you may do so during the school choice submission period.

Submit through your child's primary school

1. If you are unable to submit your child's choices online, contact your child’s primary school.
2. The school may ask you for your completed S1 Option Form, your child’s birth certificate and both parents' NRICs/FIN to make a submission on your behalf.
3. You will be given a copy of the submission.
4. Double-check and acknowledge the submission.
