Leading and Inspiring Families of Early Learners @ MOE Kindergarten (LIFE@MK) programme
Families play an important role in nurturing children’s holistic development. We routinely involve families in children’s learning through our series of workshops and sharing sessions under the LIFE@MK programme.
Our MK educators will share:
- What your child learns at MK.
- Educational approaches that are appropriate for your child’s development.
- Practical tips to help you nurture your child's holistic development at home.
- Information on specific topics, such as supporting your child’s transition to primary school.
MK Reads!
A conducive home literacy environment contributes to children’s language and literacy development. One key aspect in ensuring such an environment is for parents to develop a love for reading among their children, and to read with them as often as possible. Under our home reading programme, MK Reads!, MK children will bring home an English or Mother Tongue Language book on a weekly basis and have their parents read it with them before returning the book.
