Care and safety of children

Your child’s safety and well-being are important to us. Learn how we take care of them when they’re with us.

Ensuring your child’s safety

Most MOE Kindergartens (MK) are located within primary schools. We work closely with these schools to make sure that:

  • The physical and social well-being of our children is taken care of.
  • There are dedicated learning spaces for MK children.
  • Children are always accompanied by an MK teacher or staff member.

All MK visitors must register with our security officers. During arrival and dismissal times, you can drop off and pick up your child only at designated assembly points.

Health issues

The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) has issued clear guidelines on managing infectious diseases and health hazards such as haze. We strictly adhere to these guidelines, which include:

  • Hygiene practices.
  • Wound management, and how to handle and dispose of needles and other infectious waste.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting potentially contaminated items, including utensils, bottles, surfaces and shared resources.
  • Appropriate activity levels depending on the haze condition.
