Direct School Admission (DSA-Sec): Select preferred schools

4. Submit school preferences (Non-mainstream school child)

Non-mainstream school refers to home-schools, international schools, private schools, religious schools and SPED schools. If you are unsure, contact us to find out more.

You can submit your child’s school preferences online from 9am on Monday, 19 October 2026 to 4.30pm on Friday, 23 October 2026.

Use Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser on a desktop or laptop for the best portal experience. Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the DSA-Sec Portal using the registration number and password that you used for your child’s application. Your child’s list of schools and offers will be available after login. To reset your password, you can click the Forget Password link at the login page.
  2. List a maximum of 3 schools in order of your child’s preferences (including School of the Arts if this is one of your choice schools).
  3. Follow the instructions to submit your preferences.
  4. Print or save the acknowledgment page.

Note:

  • Only 1 parent is required to submit the DSA-Sec school preferences.
  • You can update, withdraw or resubmit during the submission period. A guide with detailed instructions will be available here in October.
  • Check your submission status by logging in to the DSA-Sec Portal during the school preference submission period.
  • Learn more on submission of school preferences.

Important:

If your child is successfully admitted through DSA-Sec, they are not allowed to submit school choices during S1 Posting or transfer to another secondary school after the release of the PSLE results. They must commit to their chosen school for the duration of the programme.
