The Yuhua Spirit
By Mr Mohamed Nazri Bin Hamzah
Yuhua Secondary School

Building the Yuhua spirit starts from the heart. We embody the values “Above All, CA(RE)3”. As Yuhuans, we make it a point to care and connect with the people around us and our environment. It also means to show support when a Yuhuan needs a dose of motivation. Together, we look for opportunities to learn and to contribute. We celebrate success together, no matter how small. At the end of the day, what strengthens our bond is the resilience to rise to the occasion and cherish the experiences we share. Once a Yuhuan, always a Yuhuan.

Together as One

Kheng Cheng School

Students were overjoyed to hear that the National School Games will resume this year after two years of missed opportunities due to Covid-19. This priceless experience for them to participate as a team, instils in them values like teamwork, sportsmanship, tenacity, and bravery. Together, students and teachers cheered and motivated our athletes as they gave it their all. Our students also had the chance to support Team Singapore players at the most recent FIBA3x3 Asia Cup. They were delighted as they got to see our athletes in action, and it was their first out-of-school trip since 2020.

United as One – RGPS Softball
By Mdm Lee Shiao Huai
Raffles Girls’ Primary School

After a two-year long hiatus, our softball team played in the unforgettable, adrenaline-fueled National School Games 2022 Finals against Rulang Primary School. The rain could not stop the girls from putting in their blood, sweat and tears, giving their best while enjoying the game! Our girls could be seen running for their lives to the bases to score the runs, batting the balls with single-minded focus. The kindred spirit was evident from handwritten notes and hand-made posters from girls in the CCA. Our school leaders were there to show their support for the team too!
