What is for Art Today?
By Mr Abdul Malik Bin Mazlan
Fuhua Primary School

Today, we shall mix red and yellow and see what happens. With every stroke of the paintbrush, coloured pencil, and marker, we shall immerse ourselves in a magical wonderland. We shall venture away from the comforts of our classrooms and make art outdoors. We shall contemplate about our own artistic journey and reflect upon what our peers have made. We shall create, discover, laugh, play with our peers, and celebrate each other’s artworks. Today shall be an exciting day in our art class!

HONOURABLE MENTION

Ah, The Great Outdoors
By Mr Lau Tuck Yan
Nan Hua High School

Our Secondary 3 students were overjoyed when it was announced that Camp Vigour was finally returning after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Determined to savour the experience, our students participated enthusiastically in all the camp activities on land and sea. In this outdoor context, students from the uniformed groups found new appreciation for the skills they have acquired in their CCA, as they led, encouraged, and shared their knowledge with their classmates. How we have dearly missed these opportunities!
