3. How to apply
Application period

To apply:
- Create an account for your child in the Candidates Portal (CP). Find out how to do so in our user guide (548KB).
- Submit an online application form in the CP.
- Upload JPEG or PDF copies of:
- Your child’s birth certificate. If it is in other languages, you have to submit an accurate English translated copy.
- Your child’s passport bio-data page. Their passport should have a validity of at least 6 months.
- Your child's passport-sized photo in JPEG or PNG format. Recommended image dimension: 410 x 514 px.
- (Primary school applicants) Your child’s statement of results for the relevant Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) test taken from January 2023 for 2024 S-AEIS Primary online application. There is no need to submit the Cambridge English certificate.
- Additional documents such as marriage certificate that may be required.
- Pay fees through credit card or debit card (preferred modes). You can also pay through PayNow. These fees are non-refundable:
- S-AEIS Primary: $340
- S-AEIS Secondary: $630
