Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics
The Diploma in Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics (DCDF) provides students with the skills and knowledge to develop strategies and apply techniques to secure IT & OT systems, networks, and cloud services; to discover, identify and analyse the behaviour of malware; to detect cybersecurity incidents and to effectively respond and recover from them.
The course curriculum is aligned with IMDA’s Skills Framework for ICT sector (Cybersecurity and Strategic & Governance). It covers a wide range of topics relating to Cybersecurity such as programming, networking, cloud computing, system security, network security, digital forensics, malware analysis, threat hunting, incident response, application security, personal data protection, ethical hacking, security architecture and operational technology cybersecurity and cloud security.
Upon completion of DCDF, graduates may pursue a career in cybersecurity in the various roles such as security engineer, incident investigator, security operations analyst, etc as stipulated in the Skills Framework for ICT. Additionally, graduates may choose to further their education with a bachelor’s degree in information security or computer science.
