Direct School Admission (DSA-Sec): Attend interviews, auditions or trials

2. Selection outcomes

Your child will receive the application outcome by Friday, 28 August 2026. There are 3 possible outcomes and some students may receive offers from multiple schools:

Confirmed Offer

Your child has a reserved place in the secondary school.

What your child needs to do:

  • Choose the school during the school preference submission period in October.
  • Achieve a PSLE score that qualifies them for a Posting Group offered by the school. For example, if a school offers only Posting Group 3, the student needs a PSLE score within Posting Group 3 (i.e. PSLE score of 4 - 22).
Wait List

Your child may be given a reserved place in the school if other students with confirmed offers did not take up the offer.

In previous years, about half of the students on the schools’ wait lists were eventually given a place.

Unsuccessful Your child was not given a place through the DSA-Sec, and must take part in S1 Posting, if eligible.

Students with a confirmed offer or on a wait list can submit up to 3 school preferences from 9am on Monday, 19 October 2026 to 4.30pm on Friday, 23 October 2026.
