Tamil Language Teaching Position

To qualify as a Trained Teacher (Tamil Language) in our schools, candidates must possess a professional teaching qualification that includes a teaching practicum, meeting all necessary programme and teacher accreditation requirements, such as:

• Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education (NIE)
• Diploma in Education from NIE
• Other professional teaching qualifications

In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 4 weeks from the close of the application window. Applicants who are shortlisted will be invited for an interview.

Following your interview, our recruitment team will carefully evaluate all interviewed candidates. If you have not heard from us within 3 weeks after your interview, your application is still being actively considered.

If you are successful in your application, we will discuss on the earliest possible date of your assumption of duty based on your unique circumstances.

For successful applicants, your school posting will be subject to the Ministry’s organisational requirements.
