Submit your application via Careers@Gov by 11pm of the window’s closing date. Please apply with complete information and your latest transcript to avoid delays in processing.
Applications submitted outside the application windows will be processed together with other applications received in the following window.

You may apply to us during any of the application window openings.
If you are a final-year polytechnic diploma applicant, you are strongly encouraged to apply when you start your final year of studies.

| Mid-career applicants (GCE A-Level, International Baccalaureate Diploma, Polytechnic Diploma Holders) |
We welcome mid-career individuals who are keen to pursue a teaching career to apply to us during any of the application window openings.
If you are successful in your application, we will discuss on the earliest possible date of your assumption of duty based on your unique circumstances.

Feb to Mar 2026
Interview period
In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 4 weeks of the close of the application window. Applicants who are shortlisted will be invited for an interview.
Following your interview, our recruitment team will carefully evaluate all interviewed candidates. If you have not heard from us within 2 weeks after your interview, your application is still being actively considered.
If you are among our earliest shortlisted candidates, you could hear from us earliest from 21 Jan 2026 about your interview date.
Jun / Jul 2026
Earliest possible Compulsory Contract Teaching Stint start date
If your teaching stint starts in Jun / Jul 2026, you will receive the Letter of Offer from 16 Mar 2026 onwards.
Jul 2027
Earliest possible NIE intake
