Potential career path and developmental opportunities for scholars

Fresh graduates will join SMRT as a Management Executive or Executive Engineer. Under the SMRT Graduate Development Programme, also known as the “Engineering and Management Associate' (EMA) programme, graduates will go through a two-month orientation programme to equip them with an understanding of the organisation’s business units and strategic priorities. They will also go through trainings and workshops to improve critical skills such as leadership and personal effectiveness.

Once on the job, graduates will be exposed to different facets of the organisation. They will also be engaged by senior management who will share their leadership experiences to better guide them as they embark on their corporate journey of learning and growth.
