Primary 1 registration for international students

1. Overview

International students (IS) can only register for Primary 1 (P1) during Phase 3 of the P1 Registration Exercise. IS will continue to register under this phase, after all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents have been allocated a place under the earlier phases of the P1 Registration Exercise. IS who intend to participate in Phase 3 of the P1 Registration Exercise will be required to undergo a 2-step process:
  1. Submit an online indication of interest form, available here from 9am on Tuesday, 1 June to 4.30pm on Monday, 7 June 2021, otherwise you will not be able to register in Phase 3 of the P1 Registration Exercise.
  2. We will notify you in October 2021:
  • Whether your child can be offered a P1 place.
  • How to register in Phase 3 with the designated school if they are offered a place.
Phase 3 registration is conducted after all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents have been allocated school places in earlier registration phases.

Check when your child is eligible for P1 registration

You can register your child in the 2021 P1 Registration Exercise if your child is born between 2 January 2015 and 1 January 2016 (both dates inclusive).
