Grade conversion to ITE aggregate points
- G3, G2 and G1 grade will be converted to ITE aggregate points to compute the aggregate scores.
- GCE O-Level, N(A)-Level and N(T)-Level will be considered as equivalent to G3, G2 and G1 respectively.
- G3 grade 9, G2 grade 6 and G1 grade E can be used for aggregate computation.
- If you have taken the same subject at different subject level (e.g. G1 English and G2 English), we will map both grades to the ITE aggregate score and use the better one with the lower point.
| G3/ O-Level grades | G2/ N(A)-Level grades | G1/ N(T)-Level grades | ITE aggregate points |
|---|---|---|---|
| A1, A2, B3, B4, C5, C6, D7 | 1, 2, 3 | A | 1 |
| E8 | 4 | B | 2 |
| 9 | 5 | C | 3 |
| - | 6 | D | 4 |
| - | - | E | 5 |
G3 grade 9, G2 grade 6 and G1 grade E cannot be used to fulfil subject-specific minimum entry requirements.
If you have taken Mother Tongue and subsequently Higher Mother Tongue for the same language
You can only use one score (i.e. the better of the two scores) in aggregate score computation.
For example, if Higher Chinese is used as the best subject B1, Chinese cannot be used as the best subject B2.
- Higher Mother Tongue Language: Higher Chinese, Higher Malay, and Higher Tamil
- Mother Tongue Language: Chinese, Malay and Tamil
