How the funds can be used
Funds can be used to pay for account holder's or their siblings' approved programmes at approved institutions. It can also be used to repay government education loans and financial schemes.

- MOE-subsidised diploma programmes.
- MOE-subsidised degree programmes.
- MOE-subsidised modular courses.
- Other approved government-subsidised full qualification courses, subject to MOE’s approval for inclusion under PSEA.
- Approved government-subsidised modular and short courses leading to certificates, subject to MOE’s approval for inclusion under PSEA.

- Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)

- All Nitec, Higher Nitec and ITE diploma programmes, as well as the Enhanced-Nitec Foundation Programme.

How to apply to use the funds
Account holders can apply to withdraw the PSEA funds for payment of approved fees and charges through one of these ways:
- Establishing a standing order
This is a one-time application. It will apply to all future withdrawals by the approved institution, and will cease only when terminated or replaced.
Submit the PSEA Standing Order online application using SingPass.
If they are no longer studying in an approved institution, the SO can be terminated by submitting an online application using their SingPass.
- A parent or legal guardian must submit the application on behalf of an account holder who is below 21 years old.
- Account holders will receive a letter informing them of the outcome of their standing order application or termination within 3 weeks after submitting the form.
- Submitting an ad hoc withdrawal application
This is a one-time withdrawal for a specific purpose.
Submit the completed PSEA Ad Hoc Withdrawal Form (200KB) to the institution for each withdrawal.
Check with the institution whether to establish a standing order or submit an ad hoc withdrawal application.
