ASD Structured Programme (ASP)
The ASP is for students with MID and mild ASD who have moderate support needs. The teacher to student ratio for the ASP is 1: 4. The ASP prepares students to eventually transit into the school’s Integrated Programme.

Both programmes offer the core curriculum that centres on Functional Academics, Life-Skills, Physical Education and Aesthetics. A customised, module-based curriculum for all subject areas, including CCA, is adopted to cater to the varied needs and learning abilities of pupils.

ASP has additional components of Play Skills and Communication Skills built into their curriculum.

Highlights
Language Week
Language Week is an annual event organized by the Literacy Department. Every year, it adopts a unique theme. Throughout the week, students learn and appreciate language through a series of activities that are current, relevant and engaging.

Language Week also serves as an avenue for the students to forge and build relationships with other members of the community. Examples of collaboration include:
  • Engagement with seniors from nearby eldercare centres.
  • Engagement with essential workers on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Singapore.
  • Sharing sessions by foreign guest speakers on their native countries to give students a glimpse of life beyond Singapore.

Math and Science Fun Day
The Math and Science Fun Day is the initiative of the Numeracy & Science Department. Students get to visit various activity stations to try out games and activities which are designed to teach concepts from the curriculum.

For example, Giant Snakes and Ladders and Mazes required students to use their knowledge to solve puzzles and find out more about things around them. The objective is for students to learn Numeracy and Science concepts in an interactive and fun way.
