How posting works
During the Post-Secondary Admissions Exercise (PSE) application, you can only select PSE courses for which you have met the admission criteria.
You will be posted to a course in one of these pathways:
- JC
- MI
- Polytechnic diploma
- Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP)
- ITE 2-Year Higher Nitec
- ITE 3-Year Higher Nitec
Posting is based on:
- Your net aggregate score, which is gross aggregate score minus bonus points.
- Your course choices and order.
- Vacancies available in the courses.
- Number of applicants who have applied to the same course and their scores.
Academic merit is the first criterion used in PSE posting. Applicants with better (i.e. lower) net aggregate scores will be considered first for vacancies in their chosen course.
When there are 2 applicants with the same net aggregate score vying for the last available place in a course, tie-breakers will be used.
