Posted applicants who are unable to report to their posted JC or MI on the first day of school with valid reasons should contact their posted school to confirm they will take up the place. The posted school will then reserve the place for them.
3 Applicants posted to ITE will receive an email with their enrolment details on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, and applicants posted to polytechnics will receive their enrolment details by end-February 2026.
Appeals
4 Applicants who wish to seek a transfer to a JC/MI course should appeal to the JC/MI directly. Applicants can refer to the respective institution's website for details of the appeal process and timeline. The institution will decide on such appeals if it has available vacancies and if the applicant meets its course cut-off point for this year's exercise.
5 Applicants who wish to appeal for a transfer to a polytechnic or ITE 2-year Higher Nitec course may do so through the JAE Online Appeal Portal (jaeappeal.edu.sg). Applicants who were not posted to any course during the JAE are also encouraged to submit an appeal through the same portal. Applicants can submit an appeal on the JAE Online Appeal Portal from Tuesday, 3 February 2026, 9am to Friday, 6 February 2026, 4pm. Appeal outcomes will be released on the same portal on Monday, 23 February 2026, 9am.
