1. Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Mr Shawn Huang, will attend the 13th ASEAN, 7th ASEAN Plus Three, and 7th East Asia Summit Education Ministers' Meetings in Buriram, Thailand, from 25 to 26 August 2024.

2. The meetings, chaired by Thailand, will discuss educational cooperation for regional integration and development. Singapore will take over the chairmanship of the ASEAN education sector from Thailand in 2026.

3. Mr Huang will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Education.
