News Press Releases

1. The posting results for the 2024 Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) will be released on Thursday, 1 February 2024, 9.00am. Applicants can obtain their posting results through the following modes:

  1. Short Message Service to the Singapore mobile phone number provided by the applicant during registration
  2. JAE-IS, which is accessible through the JAE website (www.moe.gov.sg/jae)

2. Applicants posted to a junior college (JC) or Millennia Institute (MI) are to report to their posted institutions on the morning of Friday, 2 February 2024. Posted applicants should refer to their posted schools' websites for more information such as the reporting details and purchase of uniforms. Posted applicants who are unable to report to their posted JC or MI on the first day of school with valid reasons should contact their posted school to confirm they will take up the place. The posted school will then reserve the place for them.

3. Applicants posted to polytechnics or the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) will receive an email or package via mail on the enrolment details by end-February 2024.

4. Applicants who wish to seek a transfer to a JC/MI course should appeal to the JC/MI directly by phone or email. The institution will decide on such appeals if it has available vacancies, and if the applicant meets its course cut-off point for this year's exercise. Contact numbers and email addresses of the JCs/MI can be found on MOE's SchoolFinder (https://www.moe.gov.sg/schoolfinder).

5. Applicants who wish to appeal for a transfer to a polytechnic or ITE 2-year Higher Nitec course may do so through the JAE Online Appeal Portal at https://jaeappeal.edu.sg. Applicants who were not posted to any course during the JAE are also encouraged to submit an appeal through the same portal. Applicants can submit an appeal on the JAE Online Appeal Portal from Thursday, 1 February 2024, 9.00am to Tuesday, 6 February 2024, 4.00pm. Appeal outcomes will be released on the same portal on Wednesday, 21 February 2024, 9.00am.
