Published on: 07 Aug 2024

Name and Constituency of Member of Parliament

Mr Saktiandi Supaat, Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC

Question

To ask the Minister for Education whether the Ministry will explore the possibility of allowing the transfer of allotted SkillsFuture Credit to family members for Singaporeans who are unable to utilise their credits due to very old age, illness or other reasons.

Response

  1. The SkillsFuture Credit is designed to be non-transferable between individuals. This is because the SkillsFuture Credit seeks to empower Singaporeans to take personal ownership of their own learning throughout their lives, regardless of age or circumstances.
