Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS)

3. How to apply

Applications for the 2023 AEIS have closed.

To apply:

  1. Create an account for your child in the Candidates Portal (CP). Find out how to do so in our user guide (541KB).
  2. Submit an online application in the CP.
  3. Upload JPEG or PDF copies of:
    • Your child’s birth certificate. If it is in other languages, you have to submit an accurate English translated copy.
    • Your child’s passport bio-data page. Their passport should have a validity of at least 6 months.
    • Your child's passport-sized photo in JPEG or PNG format. Recommended image dimension: 410 x 514 px.
    • (Primary school applicants) Your child’s statement of results for the relevant Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) test taken within 12 months before the month of submission of their AEIS application. There is no need to submit the Cambridge English certificate.
    • Additional documents such as marriage certificate may be required.
  4. Pay fees through credit card or debit card (preferred modes). You can also pay through PayNow. These fees are non-refundable:
    • AEIS Primary: $340
    • AEIS Secondary: $630
GST at the prevailing rate is chargeable on these fees.
