Update employment status
Find out when and how to update your employment status on the TG&S portal.
You need to update your employment status and information as you serve your bond obligation for the next 3 years.
Update your contact details on the TG&S portal so that you can remain contactable. Do update your employment information as soon as you have found a job. Learn how to update your employment status and information.
You will also need to upload the following documents:
You must upload a letter of certification from your employer. The letter should indicate the starting date of employment.
It should:
- Be printed on the company letterhead.
- Be signed by the HR manager or director.
- Include your full name and NRIC or FIN.
- Include the name, telephone number or email address of the contact person in the company.
You can refer to the sample letter on your current employment.
You must upload 2 letters:
- From your previous employer, a letter certifying the start and end date of employment.
- From your new employer, a letter certifying the start date of employment.
They should:
- Be printed on the company letterhead.
- Be signed by the HR manager or director.
- Include your full name and NRIC or FIN.
- Include the name, telephone number or email address of the contact person in the company.

You must upload the following documents:
- ACRA registration printout to prove that your company is registered in Singapore.
- Your company profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, corporate tax returns and monthly sales transactions.
- Declaration that your business entity is operating and based in Singapore.
- Income tax documents
- Monthly sales transactions or commissions
You must upload the tax documents from the country of your employment.
