Centennial Fund Award

Overview

The Centennial Fund Award recognises 1,000 polytechnic and ITE students from disadvantaged backgrounds who demonstrate potential and resilience each year.

Who is eligible

Singapore citizens who:

• Are enrolled in one of the polytechnics or ITE as a full-time student at the point of nomination.
• Met the prevailing Higher Education Community Bursary (HECB) Tier 1 income criteria based on gross monthly household income (GHI) or gross monthly per-capita income (PCI).
• Will participate in an internship or industrial attachment in the year of the award.
• Demonstrated good conduct and behaviour according to the guidelines of his/her institution, in the academic year preceding the year of the award, and up till the point of award nomination.

Eligible students will undergo further selection by institutions.

Award amount

$1,000

Awardees will also be connected with a mentor to guide them on their longer-term career and life goals.
