Who is eligible
Myanmar nationals who:
- Are born on 2 Jan 2008 to 1 Jan 2011.
- Are proficient in English.
- Have done consistently well in school examinations.
- Have completed at least Grade 9.
- Have studied English as a subject in Grades 9 and 10.
- Have a good record of participation in co-curricular activities.
Duration of scholarship
This scholarship is:
- Valid for 4 years from Secondary 3 to Pre-University 2, leading to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level certificate or similar qualification.
- Renewed each year based on the scholar’s performance in school.
Benefits
The scholarship covers:
- Annual allowance with hostel accommodation.
- Settling-in allowance.
- Return economy airfare.
- School fees.
- Examination fees for GCE O-Level and A-Level (once only, as applicable).
- Subsidised medical benefits and insurance cover for accidents.
