Teaching scholarships and sponsorships
Are you ready to make a lasting impact on the next generation? Do you possess a deep passion for teaching and a strong desire to inspire and empower students?
If your answer is yes, then a fulfilling career in teaching might be for you. As a teacher, you have the unique opportunity to shape the minds of future generations and make a positive impact on their lives. You will join the ranks of dedicated teachers who are committed to making a difference in the world, one student at a time.
One of the pathways to join us is by applying for our MOE Teaching Scholarships/Award.
Why join us as an MOE Teaching Scholar/Award Holder?
- Developmental opportunities – You will be able to participate in programmes that are exclusive to MOE Teaching scholars/award holders. These include pre-university programmes for you to bond with fellow teaching scholars/award holders, as well as internships at schools or in MOE HQ during or after your studies, designed to deepen and broaden your understanding of education issues.
- Structured career pathways – As you progress in your career in the Education Service, you may have a different aspiration from your fellow teachers. As such, the Ministry has 3 career tracks for you to develop and progress along different fields of excellence:
- The Teaching Track provides professional development and advancement opportunities for teachers who are keen to further develop the pedagogical capability of the teaching force.
- The School Leadership Track provides opportunities for teachers who are keen to contribute to the effective management and leadership of schools.
- The Senior Specialist Track provides opportunities for those who are inclined towards more specialised areas in educational development, where deep knowledge and skills are essential for breaking new grounds.
