Student Placement and Services Division

Conducts strategic planning for school placement, and provides responsive and quality support services and systems to schools, students and stakeholders in student placement and scholarship matters.


  • Oversees the policy and placement of students to schools through placement exercises, ad-hoc request for school admissions and transfers.
  • Administers scholarship schemes such as MOE Pre-U Scholarship, Programme-based Scholarships, Singapore-Industry Scholarship, ASEAN Scholarships and the Tuition Grant scheme, as well as help the students integrate.
  • Manages MOE HQ's Customer Service Centre which provides an omni-channel platform handling all public requests for information and services on MOE through online and offline channels such as MOE corporate website, interactive virtual assistants, walk-in, call-in and email-in channels.
  • Formulates service strategies, implements service initiatives, and develops service capabilities to improve the quality of service delivery across all MOE public touch points.
