Potential career path and developmental opportunities for scholars
Prior to graduation, Scholars will have first-hand opportunity to be immersed in the Woh Hup experience through internship placement. Under the guidance of the assigned supervisor, Scholars will be plugged into how the assigned function contributes to the overall project delivery. Besides interaction with seniors from their university that are working in Woh Hup, Scholars will also have opportunity to engage Senior Management through networking sessions and other company events throughout the internship period.
Upon graduation, Scholars will receive on-the-job training and exposure to work done in various departments within a project. This will enable Scholars to gain a better understanding of the different functions within Woh Hup and go through an exploratory journey of assessing which area of work best suits them and aligned to their career aspiration.
To provide support and guidance to Scholars starting a career in construction, an experienced and senior member of Woh Hup will be assigned to provide mentorship. Additional learning and upgrading opportunities such as external training/certification will be provided as well.
