This three-year opportunity will empower you to engage in the essential tasks required for the production of safe, high-quality products. The program is designed to offer a comprehensive view of the critical technologies within our manufacturing facility. Throughout the program, you will have the chance to explore different production units, enhancing your professional skills. Each rotation will last approximately one year, and will include an indicative technical and operations rotation:
- Technical rotation
You will be assigned to one of the pharmaceutical technology units/modalities across MSD in Singapore. This placement will provide you with insights into various technology platforms and operating models unique to each Integrated Process Team (IPT). - Operations rotation
During this phase, you will take on responsibilities within an IPT, gaining hands-on experience in problem-solving at the shop-floor, participating in investigations at the assigned area, driving continuous improvements in manufacturing processes and equipment reliability, and contributing to strategic initiatives that necessitate IPT input.
MSD is seeking individuals with the following qualities:
- Passion to work in pharmaceutical/ biosciences sector
- Flexibility to embrace rotational and placement opportunities to experience full development during the 3-year rotational assignments
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, ideal candidate should be a team player with the ability to work independently
- Demonstrated leadership experience in field of study, extracurricular activity, internship or undergraduate research
- Candidate should possess and/or maintain consistent high GPA scores throughout the academic degree (typically in science/engineering discipline)
- Ideal candidate will have the ability to proactively integrate into the department and assignments
- Someone who seeks networking opportunities within and external to the site and partners with other candidates in the program.
