Use this application template to help you prepare the relevant information together with your child, before starting the online application.
Log in to the DSA-Sec portal with your Singpass Two-Factor Authentication (Singpass 2FA). Find out how to register for a Singpass and 2FA if you don't have one.
Indicate up to 3 choices and 3 talent areas. You may indicate up to 2 talent areas for the same school. If you want to apply for 2 talent areas at the same school, you must indicate both as separate choices.
Your child's primary school information will automatically be shared with the applied DSA-Sec school(s). This information includes your child's P5 and P6 academic results, and other information from P4 to P6, i.e. Co-curricular Activities (CCA), Values in Action (VIA) involvement, School-based achievements and awards such as Edusave awards, National School Games and Junior Sports Academy participation. You do not need to key in this information.
You may provide information on non-school based activities and achievements, which are related to your child's chosen talent areas. This section is non-compulsory, with a limit of 10 entries and no supporting documents are needed.
Enter your contact details correctly. This allows the schools to contact you if your child is shortlisted for the selection process.
You can update, withdraw and re-submit your application during the application period.
If you are unable to apply online, approach your child's primary school for assistance.

You have from 11am on Thursday, 5 May 2022 to 3pm on Wednesday, 1 June 2022 to submit your child's application. The application is made up of 2 parts: (1) Getting a registration number and (2) Accessing the DSA-Sec portal with the given registration number.
Note:
If your child is a Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident, or an International Student who is residing in Singapore and holding a valid pass, they may take part in this DSA-Sec.
All International Students who are not residing in Singapore are not eligible to take part in DSA-Sec, but may consider to take part in the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) for admission into mainstream secondary schools.
Part 1: Getting a registration number (RG number)
First, you will need to submit the required documents and the RG number will be sent to your primary email address.
If your child is a/an:
Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
Documents required
You are required to provide the following documents indigital copies during the form submission:
Your child's birth certificate.
You and your child's proof of citizenship (for example, passport, entry permit, re-entry permit, FIN, NRIC, Certificate of Singapore citizenship, etc.).
International Student
Documents required
You are required to provide the following documents in digital copies during the form submission:
Your child's birth certificate.
Both parents and child's proof of citizenship (for example, passport, FIN).
Dependant's pass, immigration exemption order or student pass (if any).
Your child's record of studying in Singapore (for example, student card, school report book)
Part 2: Accessing the DSA-Sec portal
You can access the DSA-Sec Portal with the following steps:

Indicate up to 3 choices and 3 talent areas. You may indicate up to 2 talent areas for the same school. If you want to apply for 2 talent areas at the same school, you must indicate both as separate choices.
Fill in your child's academic results and up to 10 activities and achievements which are related to your child's chosen talent areas.
Enter your contact details correctly. This allows the schools to contact you if your child is shortlisted for the selection process.
You can update, withdraw and re-submit your application during the application period.
To participate in the 2022 DSA-Sec, your child must be born between 2 January 2006 and 1 January 2011 for Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents, or between 2 January 2008 and 1 January 2011 if they are not Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
Ensure that documents are valid at the point of registration and in English (or with an accompanying English translation).
If your child is an International Student, they will be required to take part and fulfil the requirements of the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) before they can be considered for admission to secondary school via DSA-Sec.
