Release of 2025 Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level Examination Result

Candidates who sat for the 2025 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O-Level) Examination1 collected their results from their secondary schools today.

2 A total of 22,468 candidates sat for the 2025 GCE O-Level Examination. 22,430 (99.8%) of these candidates have achieved Grade C6 or better in at least one O-Level subject2. 21,740 (96.8%) and 19,522 (86.9%) of the candidates have achieved Grade C6 or better in at least 3 or more, and 5 or more O-Level subjects respectively. This is comparable to the performance of candidates for the GCE O-Level Examination in previous years.

Joint Admissions Exercise

3 Students who wish to apply for admission to junior colleges (JCs), Millennia Institute (MI), polytechnics, and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) may do so via the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) using their O-Level examination results. The JAE application period is from 4.00pm on 14 January 2026 to 4.30pm on 19 January 2026.

4 Eligible school candidates and private candidates will receive a digital copy of Form A3 via their registered email addresses from 2.45pm on 14 January 2026. All candidates eligible for JAE may also download a copy of Form A from the JAE-Internet System (JAE-IS) during the application period.

5 The JAE-IS will be accessible from 4.00pm on 14 January 2026, to 4.30pm on 19 January 2026 for applicants to submit their course choices through the JAE website (www.moe.gov.sg/jae). Applicants are strongly encouraged to use the JAE worksheet (www.moe.gov.sg/jaeworksheet) to shortlist the course choices and familiarise themselves with the application process before submitting their online application. Education and Career Guidance (ECG) Support

7 Students may also consult their teachers or ECG Counsellors in their respective secondary schools about their next steps. Alternatively, they can make an ECG counselling appointment via the ECG Centre @ MOE (go.gov.sg/moe-ecg-centre). The ECG Centre @ MOE offers online or phone counselling services from 7 to 21 January 2026, from 9am to 5pm on weekdays and 9am to 12pm on Saturdays.
