Question

To ask the Minister for Education how many students in Singapore have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in each year over the past five years.

Response

1. Based on data reported by both mainstream and Special Education schools, the number of students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder enrolled in these schools range from about 3500 in 2012 to about 5000 in 2016.
