Update employment status

You need to update your employment status and information as you serve your bond obligation for the next 3 years.

You will also need to upload the following documents:

For your first job

You must upload a letter of certification from your employer. The letter should indicate the starting date of employment.

It should:

  • Be printed on the company letterhead.
  • Be signed by the HR manager or director.
  • Include your full name and NRIC or FIN.
  • Include the name, telephone number or email address of the contact person in the company.

You can refer to the sample letter on your current employment.

When you change your job

You must upload 2 letters:

  1. From your previous employer, a letter certifying the start and end date of employment.
  2. From your new employer, a letter certifying the start date of employment.

They should:

  • Be printed on the company letterhead.
  • Be signed by the HR manager or director.
  • Include your full name and NRIC or FIN.
  • Include the name, telephone number or email address of the contact person in the company.

For local self-employment

You must upload the following documents:

  1. ACRA registration printout to prove that your company is registered in Singapore.
  2. Your company profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, corporate tax returns and monthly sales transactions.
  3. Declaration that your business entity is operating and based in Singapore.
If you are employed as a commission-based agent (for example, property agent, insurance agent or financial advisor), you are required to upload documentary evidence of your:
  1. Income tax documents
  2. Monthly sales transactions or commissions
For overseas employment

You must upload the tax documents from the country of your employment.
