Financial Assistance Information For IHLS
Tuition fees for all Singaporeans in post-secondary education institutions (PSEIs) are highly subsidised. However, we recognise that some families may still need some additional financial help to support their education. Hence, we have various financial assistance schemes available to further support Singaporean students in our publicly-funded PSEIs. No deserving Singaporean student will be denied post-secondary education because of his/her financial background.
Government bursaries help to support the education expenses for Singaporean students enrolled in MOE-subsidised courses in publicly-funded PSEIs. From Academic Year (AY) 2020, the government bursaries for full-time and part-time students will be enhanced. Please see summary of enhancements in the tables below. For more information, please refer to MOE press release.

As the fees for NUS Medicine/Dentistry and NTU Medicine are different, MOE will differentiate the bursaries for NUS and NTU such that after receipt of the bursary, undergraduates enrolled in both NUS and NTU will have the same remaining fee to be paid if the maximum bursary amount is used to offset fees. For a NUS or NTU Medicine student who qualifies for the highest bursary tier, he will pay no more than $5,000 per annum in tuition fees after the enhanced government bursary and the additional aid from the university.
