UPLIFT Scholarship
Cash awards of $1,000 per year are offered to Singaporean students in independent schools who have performed well academically or in specific talent areas. Learn about them.
The UPLIFT Scholarship recognises the achievements of students in independent schools who have performed well academically, or in specific talent areas, and are from lower-income families.

Award amount |
$800 cash award per year. With effect from AY2023, the award is increased to $1,000.
For those receiving ESIS (Yearly Award), the tenure is for 1 year and income eligibility is assessed based on family’s financial status in the year of tenure. |

How to apply |
No application is required. Your child will automatically be awarded if they are receiving ISB pertaining to those whose GHI ≤ $4,400 or PCI ≤ $1,100. If your child meets the eligibility criteria for the UPLIFT Scholarship but have not applied for ISB, you can apply for ISB through your child’s school. If the school assesses that your child is eligible, they will be awarded both the ISB and UPLIFT Scholarship. |
