Secondary 1 (S1) Posting Exercise

Submission of Options
Via Secondary 1 - Internet System (S1-IS)
  • 7 calendar days, starting from the release of PSLE results (e.g. when PSLE results were released on 22 November 2018, options could be submitted from 22 to 28 November 2018).

  • 24 hours, starting from 11am on the first day until 3pm on the last day of S1 Option Phase.


Via Primary Schools
  • 5 working days, starting from the release of PSLE results (e.g. when PSLE results were released on 22 November 2018, options could be submitted on 22, 23 and 26 – 28 November 2018).

  • 11am to 3pm on the first day; and 9am to 3pm from the second to the last day of S1 Option Phase.

Students who missed the one-week period for submission of options can approach the primary schools for assistance the day after the submission closes, from 9am to 12pm. This half-day submission is for new submission of options and not for amendments to submitted options.

Release of Posting Results

Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE)

Registration Phase
Via JAE Internet System (JAE-IS)
  • 5 calendar days, starting from 14 January 2019 to 18 January 2019.

  • 24 hours, starting from 3pm on the first day until 4pm on the last day of registration.

Students who missed the 5-day registration period can approach MOE-CSC for assistance the day after registration closes, from 9am to 12pm. This half-day registration is for new submission of course choices and not for amendments to submitted choices.
