You will receive a monthly salary when you join us as a contract teacher. The school you are deployed to will assess your suitability for NIE training. Upon successful completion of NIE training, you will be deployed to a school to serve a 3-year teaching bond (this is only applicable to candidates who are not recipients of a teaching scholarship / award).

The salary ranges of those found suitable for the relevant teacher training programme is shown below:

DipEd $1,800 - $2,350
PGDE $2,760 - $3,500

Note: All salaries are subject to review and change.

The starting salary offered will take into consideration the relevance of your experience to teaching, time spent on the job, and your academic training. You will be granted additional salary increments if you have completed full-time National Service. There is no pay difference for teachers across the different teaching levels, if they hold the same experience and academic training.

On top of your monthly salary, trained teachers are eligible for annual salary components including the Non-Pensionable Annual Allowance (commonly known as the 13-month bonus), performance bonus and other variable bonuses.
