If you would like to be informed when the application window is open, please sign up for our mailing list. Within the form, please indicate your interest by selecting “Yes” under “3. Teaching positions”, and tick the option “MOE Kindergarten Teacher (with DECCE-T or equivalent qualification)”.

You may submit your application via Careers@Gov during the application window by clicking on the link and searching for “English Medium or Mother Tongue Language Kindergarten Teacher”.

Generally, more English Medium Kindergarten Teacher positions are available than Mother Tongue Language (MTL) Kindergarten Teacher positions. You may wish to indicate English as the second preferred teaching language in your Careers@Gov application if you would like to be considered for the English Medium Kindergarten Teacher position should there be no vacancies for specific MTL Kindergarten Teacher position.

Please note that the eventual deployment of officers is dependent on organisational needs and available vacancies.

What you need to know

  • When filling up the application form, under the field ‘Position applied for', please select ‘MOE Kindergarten'. Otherwise, there could be a delay in the processing of your application.
  • In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 4 weeks of the close of the application window. Applicants who are shortlisted will be invited for an interview. Following your interview, our recruitment team will carefully evaluate all interviewed candidates. If you have not heard from us within 3 weeks after your interview, your application is still being actively considered.  
  • You may check the status of your application periodically via Careers@Gov.
