Phase 3

Only for non-Singapore Citizen (SC) / non-Permanent Resident (PR) children who have indicated their interest and are informed by MOE in October 2018 that they can be offered a P1 place

IMPORTANT: All non-SC / non-PR children are required to first submit an online indication of interest form from 5 June 2018 (Tuesday), 9.00am to 11 June 2018 (Monday), 4.30pm.

Note:

Parents of Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident children who have not obtained a school place after Phase 2C Supplementary can request MOE to facilitate your child's placement to a school which still has vacancies.

Registration Procedures

Each child should be registered at only one school at any one time. If a child is registered at more than one school, he may lose his place in the school of choice.

Phases Registration Procedures

Phase 1

Registration at Primary School

Parents may submit the registration form and relevant documents through the older sibling who will be given the form by the school.

All children registered under this phase will be given places in the schools.

Phase 2B

Registration at Primary School

Registration is conducted at the primary school that you wish your child to be admitted into. The hours of registration are from 8.00 am to 11.00 am and from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm on each scheduled registration day. Parent is to submit the registration form (available at the school during registration) and required documents at the school of choice.

Alternatively, parents can authorise a person to register their child on their behalf. An original letter of authorisation (93kb .pdf) is required from the parent.

Singapore Citizens (SCs) will be given absolute priority over Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs) when balloting is necessary in a specific phase. SCs and PRs will continue to be eligible for the same phases, and all applicants will be admitted if the total number of applications in any phase does not exceed the number of vacancies. However, if the number of applications exceeds the number of vacancies in a specific phase, SCs will be admitted first ahead of PRs, before home-school distance is considered.

Phase 2C
Phase 2C Supplementary

Online Registration

The Primary One Internet System (P1-IS) serves as a channel to facilitate the registration of children during Phase 2C and Phase 2C Supplementary.

Parents who register online will need to produce the original of each required documents to the school the child is successfully registered when requested by the school or upon reporting to the school.

The online registration periods are:

  • Phase 2C

    Starting from 30 July 2018, 9.00am to 1 August 2018, 4.30pm

  • Phase 2C Supplementary

    Starting from 13 August 2018, 9.00am to 14 August 2018, 4.30pm

You may wish to know:

The number of Primary One vacancies each school will offer for the Primary One Registration Exercise will be made available in June before the registration begins. Parents can refer to Primary Schools Vacancies by Phases for information on vacancies for each school.

Balloting will be required if the number of applications to a school exceed the number of vacancies during any phase from Phase 2A(1) to Phase 2C Supplementary. Please refer to Allocation of Places for details on balloting.

Parents can refer to Primary Schools that Require Balloting to find out which schools will require balloting at the end of each registration phase.

Parents of SC/PR children will be notified of their registration outcome on the date of result announcement, through Short Messaging System (SMS) and postal mail. Should you not receive your registration outcome by the end of result announcement day, you could contact the school directly the next working day to check on the results.
