Priority Order (PO) Eligibility

All SPR children*

*If there are children whose parent is a staff member of the MK/primary school, they will be considered first.

  • For MKs in partnerships with Early Years Centres, SC and SPR Nursery 2 children from partner Early Years Centres will have a place in the partner MKs. If parents decide to apply to other non-partner MKs instead, children will not be guaranteed a K1 place at the non-partner MKs. Parents' application to the non-partner MKs will be considered under the Open Admissions (i.e. non-EYC) registration and subject to the same criteria as all other Open Admissions applications.

  • If need be, balloting will be conducted taking into consideration citizenship (where applicable), and home-MK distance in the following order:
    • Children living within 500m of the MK of choice
    • Children living between 500m and 1km of the MK of choice
    • Children living outside 1km of the MK of choice
