2. Types of requests and supporting documents

Guidelines for submission:
  • Supporting documents can be in the form of jpeg or pdf.
  • Compress the documents into a zip file before uploading. The maximum file size should not be more than 7MB.
  • Late or incomplete submission will not be processed.
If you are unable to log in to the JAE-IS

You can request for assistance by uploading both sides of your NRIC, Student’s Pass, Dependent’s Pass or passport.

If you have changed your residential address

You can request to update your residential address. You will need to upload both sides of your NRIC, Student’s Pass, Dependent’s Pass or passport.

If you need to update your CCA grade

You can request to update your CCA grade. You will need to upload the following documents:

  • Both sides of your NRIC, Student’s Pass, Dependent’s Pass or passport
  • CCA certificate or letter from school
If you need to update your citizenship

You will need to upload the following documents for us to verify your change in citizenship:

  1. Both sides of the identification document of previous citizenship such as:
    • old NRIC
    • Student’s Pass
    • Dependent’s Pass
    • Singapore Citizenship Certificate for those who are not Singapore Citizens at the time of birth
    • Singapore Passport stating that they are Singapore Citizen
  2. Both sides of Identification document of current citizenship such as:
    • new NRIC
    • Student’s Pass
    • Dependent’s Pass
    • Singapore Citizenship Certificate for those who are not Singapore Citizens at the time of birth
    • Singapore Passport stating that they are Singapore Citizen.
If you need to submit a JAE application on behalf of someone

You can request to submit an application on behalf of the applicant when they are unable to apply during the JAE application period.

You must be a parent, guardian or an adult aged 21 and above (i.e. a proxy) to do this submission. You will need to upload the following documents:

  • Both sides of your NRIC or passport.
  • Both sides of applicant’s NRIC, birth certificate, Student’s Pass, Dependent’s Pass or passport.
  • Applicant's O-Level certificates or result slips.
  • Applicant's CCA certificates, if available.

If you are not the applicant's parent or guardian, you must also provide these documents:

  • Both sides of applicant's parents/guardians' NRIC or passport.
  • A completed proxy form.
If you need assistance relating to O-Level subjects or grades

You can request for assistance relating to O-Level subjects or grades. You will need to upload the following documents:

  • Both sides of your NRIC, Student’s Pass, Dependent’s Pass or passport.
  • O-Level certificate.
