3. What is the main criterion for the selection of a canteen stallholder?

   The main criterion for the selection of stallholder is the suitability to run and manage the stalls. Applicants are expected to:

   • Able to provide food and drinks that meet the health/nutritional standards set by Health Promotion Board;
   • Able to provide good service and quality food at reasonable prices;
   • Able to observe a high standard of personal and food hygiene

4. Is financial hardship the main criterion?

   While financial hardship cases will be given due consideration, the primary consideration is the suitability and ability of the applicants.

   Monthly rental for a canteen stall ranges from $5 to $15 depending on the school population.

11. What is the validity period of the Canteen Agreement?

    The canteen agreement is valid for 1 year or 2 years. The agreement may be renewed subject to the decision of the School Canteen Committee.
