Secondary One Posting Exercise
The Secondary One (S1) Posting Exercise is an annual exercise conducted by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to post Primary 6 (P6) pupils, who have passed their Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE), to a secondary school based on their PSLE results and their school choices. This exercise is conducted from late November to December annually.
For the 2009 S1 Posting Exercise, all eligible P6 pupils have already submitted their secondary school options during the S1 Option Exercise between 26 Nov and 2 Dec 2009.
The S1 posting results will be released on 22 Dec 2009 at 9am. Parents and pupils will be able to check the posting results via any of the following channels:
- Short Messaging System (SMS) via applicant’s local mobile number (if provided by applicants during submission of school choices)
- S1 Internet System (S1-IS)
- Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) (Tel: 6691-2066)
- Going to the child’s primary school
Pupils are to report to the secondary school that they are posted to on 23 Dec 2009 at 8.30am.
