The Secondary One (S1) Posting Exercise is an annual exercise conducted by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to post Primary 6 (P6) pupils, who have passed their Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE), to a secondary school based on their PSLE results and their school choices. This exercise is conducted from late November to December annually.
The S1 Option Phase, for parents to submit their child’s S1 options and/or secondary school choices, will be conducted immediately after the release of the PSLE results. During the S1 Option Phase in late-November, parents can submit their child’s secondary school options either electronically via the S1 Internet System (S1-IS) or physically to the child’s primary school.
