Launch of Cultural Performance Exposure Fund 2017

The Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee (MLLPC) has launched a Cultural Performance Exposure Fund which will be available to all mainstream primary and secondary schools, junior colleges and Millennia Institute. This fund will enhance support to schools in encouraging students to experience and enjoy local cultural performances in Malay.

2. MLLPC hopes to boost students’ interest in the learning of Malay Language through such immersive experiences that promote an appreciation of the Malay community’s cultural heritage. The fund seeks to make Mother Tongue Language learning come alive for students and also supports the Malay cultural performing arts scene in Singapore. It can be concurrently used with the National Arts Council Grant and Tote Board Fund.
