Chua Pin Chin
Centre Head, MOE Kindergarten @ Waterway
"My greatest desire as an educator is to instil the love of learning in children, through sharing my own passion for learning with them."
Pin Chin sees each child as an individual and believes that children will thrive if given a caring, stimulating and responsive environment to learn and develop. She seeks to help the children grow to their fullest potential by providing a learning environment that is safe and which supports the sharing of ideas.
Pin Chin believes that children learn best through purposeful play and should be given opportunities to do so in authentic contexts. At MOE Kindergarten @ Waterway, teachers are facilitators of learning. They allow children's natural curiosity to direct their learning. They also promote respect for all things and people. Pin Chin and her team partner parents closely to ensure home-school continuity.
